An Expert Opinion!

I love chocolate & it’s a part of my life (& one that I couldn’t or wouldn’t want to be without!).

Chocolate, for me, falls into two categories:

  1. As a treat
  2. For the health benefits as part of a balanced diet.

We all need a little lift from time to time, and chocolate makes you feel great, so this is where the treat part comes in.

I might reach for one of our milk chocolate inclusions bars and work my way through it guilt-free, but as it’s a treat, I don’t do this often!

The second chocolate as a health benefit - I have two small squares of dark chocolate daily.

This helps feed my sweet tooth and gives me the happiness high from chocolate consumption, but as it’s dark chocolate, it is lower in calories and sugar and packed full of nutrients and antioxidants.

Above all, chocolate should be enjoyed but in moderation as part of a healthy and balanced diet.

And, if you can, choose dark chocolate as it’s much better for you than milk or white.
