Dispatch:

We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 2:00pm (Monday-Friday) to our chosen courier on the same day. Any orders placed after 2:00pm will be dispatched the next working day. We will send an email confirmation once your order has been dispatched by our warehouse. From here any further correspondence will be sent from our courier team, giving you full tracking of your order from dispatch to expected delivery.

Delivery & Tracking:

Tracked delivery is sent via Royal Mail on a 48-hour service, with no signature required upon delivery. You can track your order in full, once it's been received by the courier, by clicking on the tracking number in your dispatch email. Royal Mail aim to deliver your parcel within 2-3 working days (inc. Saturdays) but their delivery date is only an estimate.

Christmas Delivery Information:

During the festive period, delivery networks experience significantly higher demand, which can occasionally lead to delays. While our standard delivery timeframe is 3–5 working days, please be aware that orders placed throughout the Christmas season may take longer to arrive.

We kindly recommend allowing additional time for your delivery during this busy period. Our team and courier partners will always do their utmost to ensure your order reaches you as quickly as possible, but meeting our usual delivery window may not always be achievable at this time of year.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We can only replace items if they are defective or damaged or received the wrong item, and we will only replace with the same item(s) as per your original order. If there is a problem with your order or an item in your order and you need an exchange please send an email to sales@whitakerschocolates.com along with:

- A photo / photos of the defective or damaged item(s)
- Your full name and order number.

We will get back to you as soon as possible with details of how to return your item for an exchange. Please note, in most cases, we will not be able to send out your exchange until we have received your item(s) back to us. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Very nice stem ginger chunks

Very nice stem ginger chunks. Perhaps a bit too sweet. Most of your stuff is slightly too sweet. If you could tweak that you’d be my favourite.

Not worth the money

This comes as a surprise to us as we have received mostly positive feedback and reviews for this product. However, we understand that everyone has different tastes and preferences. We would like to mention that this product uses expensive ingredients, such as real stem ginger pieces, and is double enrobed in dark chocolate, which is reflected in the price. Lovely ginger chocolates, will be getting more. Like that there is reduced plastic, all for no plastic wrapping. Keep it up.

Not as good as Friars

My wife is an expert on chocolate ginger and did a taste test V Friars. She said theirs were better. More taste to chocolate and more fire to ginger. You might want to try this.

A Christmas Treat, but better than Santa.

A classically festive box containing nice chunky ginger pieces, covered in a jolly decent layer of dark chocolate. What a Christmas treat 🎄 I called in to a sweetie shop on holiday to ask if they had any chocolate gingers for a gift. She said ‘we’ve sold out! They’re very popular and always go quickly.’ So I asked her what make they were, she told me ‘Whitakers’ which I could look up online and order to be sure to get some in time for Christmas. Better than Santa!

Although these chocolates are really nice the presentation was awful.I bought these as a gift and when the box was opened instead of the chocolates sitting in their little tray they was just rattling about in a empty box covered with a little tissue.
