Room for improvement in their ordering and shipping processes.

I ordered a box of 8 white chocolate truffles for our friend's birthday. I couldn't see an option to have them gift wrapped, or to include a little message card to say who they were from. Also, I ordered on Sunday 24th May (granted, it was a B.H. weekend) but when I saw the stated 3-5 days delivery time, I chanced it, and hoped that they might arrive in time for our friend's birthday on 28th May, or perhaps a day later. Sadly, they didn't. Whitakers didn't even dispatch them until the following Monday 1st June, which I thought was a bit naff. I didn't notice anything on the website stating that it could take several days to get the package ready for dispatch.

The chocolates eventually arrived with our friend almost a week late, so we were a little disappointed.

However, since our friend thoroughly enjoyed them, I've given three stars, but if I ever order from Whitakers again, I'll have to remember to do it well in advance. I guess I'm just used to other traders being super efficient.
